CLS Mexico City Int. Airport

Explanation

DCC has completed the Automated Human Delivery – APM construction contract in Mexico City international airport. The Cable Liner has been part of the major expansion plans for Mexico City airports and has ensured quick and trouble-free access between the terminal 2 of the passenger’s existing terminal 1 and 15 million passenger capacity.

The cable liner system, together with the two stations, is 3 km in total length and can travel 450 times per hour by covering this distance in 4.5 minutes. To accommodate future passenger demand, the system will be extended to 800 passengers per hour. It is a very well thought-out and versatile modular design of the Cable Liner system, making possible a very short run time of 17 months.

Every year, 24 million passengers arrive at the international airport of Mexico City. DCC’s new CAB line system shortens the transfer times of passengers and thus creates an opportunity for intensive remediation at airports.
